Gravity Skydive

Sights Info

Sight Description

In an attempt to take tourism on the island to new heights, Gravity Skydive has introduced one of the world’s tallest indoor wind tunnels and a brand new activity to Bahrain.

With 12 metres of tempered glass (the tallest of its kind in the entire world), and wind speeds that currently reach up to 250 kmph, the tunnel now offers one of the country’s most adrenaline-fuelled thrills and allows those brave enough, aged four and up (without illnesses or ailments), to achieve their childhood dreams of flying.

There’s no need to strap on a parachute and jump out of an aeroplane, but simply float on a gust of wind and defy the forces of gravity. You can even jump into the tunnel from the top (they call that a “gravity base jump”), something you can only do at one other facility in the world (which isn’t even open to the public) and nowhere else in the region.
